Amber Goodwyn is a multidisciplinary artist with active performance, film and video, writing and music practices. She holds a BFA in Film Production (with Distinction) from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema (Concordia University). Goodwyn is a founding member of the Double Negative Film Collective, a Montreal-based group of film, video and installation artists interested in creating, curating and disseminating experimental film and video. She is also the founder and former publisher of the independent arts magazine Lickety Split (2004-2009). She has toured nationally with the rock bands Nightwood and Cobra & Vulture. Goodwyn’s most recent projects include coordinating the Queen City Walking Distance Distro, DJing under the Natural Sympathies moniker and writing songs for a new, unnamed music project. She is based in Regina, Saskatchewan.
